Was Shraddha Kapoor the Real Choice for “Tu Jhuti Main Makkar”?

Movie “Tu Jhuti Main Makkar” has been released lately and it’s gaining the buzz that it needs. The film stars the popular actors Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles and is being appreciated by the crowd in recent times. However, there is news that shraddha was not the first choice for the director of the movie luv Ranjan. Instead, he wanted to cast Deepika Padukone in the lead role of the movie Tu Jhuti Main Makkar. 

Luv Ranjan is known for making relationship-oriented movies and his past releases like “Pyar Ka Panchnama” and “Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety” have been hit too. Now he is back with his new release “Tu Jhuti main Makkar” to impress the audiences. However, the insider Shraddha Kapoor's latest news is that she was never the first choice for the movie.

Deepika had rejected the role that got shraddha a chance to do it. As per sources, luv approached Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgan where Ajay dropped off the plan to be a part of the movie but he continued it with Ranbir Kapoor with the script and made changes to it by thinking of Deepika’s character in mind. Deepika was also spotted at luv Ranjan’s office for discussions of the movie but her fans prohibited her to work with luv Ranjan as he was a part of #MeToo movement in Bollywood. 

Thus, Deepika backed off her feet from the movie and it got into the hands of shraddha Kapoor. The movie just got released on 8 March in India and doing well. Let us hope that it gets even bigger than this in the coming weeks.
