Alia Bhatt Revealed She Changed Her Name After Marrying Ranbir Kapoor

Alia Bhatt is busy these days promoting her upcoming movie, Jigra, which is all set to release in theatres soon. However, she revealed a unique fact about her name: She changed it after marrying Ranbir Kapoor.
All this happened at Kapil Sharma's show, where she was present for the promotions of the Jigra movie. When Sunil Grover called her Alia Bhatt, she corrected him by saying, "I am Alia Bhatt Kapoor."
She further elaborated a story about the name change by saying “I used to feel awkward as I was the only one in the family with the surname “Bhatt” while all the others were Kapoor. So, I changed my name to Alia Bhatt Kapoor so that I do not feel left out on the family trips”
